Michael Sardo is the Chief Financial Officer for Willard Agri-Service. He joined the Willard team in October 2021.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Niagara University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He earned his MBA from American University’s Kogod School of Business with a concentration in finance and real estate.

Prior to joining Willard, Michael held various financial positions, primarily in the Construction and Real Estate Industries. Most recently, Michael served as CFO of W. L. Gary, Company, Inc., a full-service, 5th generation family-owned Mechanical Contracting firm in Washington, DC. Michael started his career in public accounting for a regional firm in Western New York, earning his CPA license in New York. After transitioning into the corporate construction industry, he worked for two general contractors, two specialty contractors and a developer. While in the construction industry, Michael held several volunteer positions with the Construction Financial Manager’s Association, including a three-year term on the Executive Committee. He is a current member of the Institute of Management Accountants and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Michael enjoys volunteering at his church where he previously served as the Charter Organization’s Representative for the Parish’s Scouting program. He is involved in the Knights of Columbus and serves as an Usher. He enjoys traveling with his wife and his four adult sons.
